Requirements

• Virtual dub(version 1.8.6)
• Srt to Ssa converter(version 1)
• Divx codec

• Subtitler .vdf file

Note-you can download all the following things from Google.just type the following in Google and download them from the links.

Process

1. Install virtual dub, srt to ssa converter and divx codec.
2. If you have the subtitles in Srt format then convert them using the .srt to .ssa converter.But if the subtitles are in ssa format then the conversion is not needed.
3. After converting then open virtual dub,click on file,then click on open.now choose the .avi video file.
4. Now click on  video and then click on filters,click on add,click on load,now put the path where you have placed subtitler .vdf.after doping that then click on the subtitler .vdf in the box which is given.now click on OK.
5. Now put the path of the subtitles in .ssa format.click on OK.
6. Now click on video and then click on compression,choose the Divx (1 logical CPU) codec.
7. Now click on the play button to check if your subtitles are positioned correctly or not.
8. Now click on the file button and then click on the save as .avi button and give the output path and the name.click on OK.
